Shorts Policy

Shorts that comply with the following uniform policy may be worn during games starting Memorial Day (May 27, 2024) through the end of the season or on days that the temperature is expected to be 90 degrees or greater. If shorts are allowed on a day with an expected temperature of 90 degrees or greater before Memorial Day, a notice will be posted on the employee website by 10:00am stating shorts are allowed for that specific day. Shorts must be solid black. They may not be made of denim, Lycra, corduroy, suede, or leather. No cut-offs, yoga, biking, or sports shorts will be allowed. They may not be cargo shorts or have any protruding pockets. They must be no longer than mid-knee length and no shorter than 4 inches above the mid-knee. Shorts should not be too loose, too tight, low on the hips, too short in length, faded or in need of repair. Nothing that extends past the length of the shorts can be worn underneath including leggings, tights, or pants. Skirts or skorts may not be worn. Socks worn with shorts must match the uniform, and be black, khaki, purple, dark green or white, or Rockies themed.

This policy is subject to change if determined necessary by Event Services

Starting Monday, May 27th you may wear black shorts any day you want through the remainder of the season. If you do not wear black shorts, you must wear khaki slacks.
